
Outdoor Learning Resources
In collaboration with Nature Nurture CIC, Green Trees has designed and written a range of bespoke, curriculum-linked outdoor education resources and learning packs.
Clients include The Land Trust and The Peabody Trust. Nature Nurture, was also one of the partners in the ‘Growing Among Trees’ project which was funded by Defra and the Department for Education to support children's health and wellbeing through nature connection - which Green Trees also helped to deliver.
The Land Trust - Outdoor Learning Pack for Davy Down Nature Reserve, Essex
In collaboration with Nature Nurture CIC, Green Trees helped to design and write this user-friendly learning pack which contains session plans for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) , Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, plus ‘Spotter Sheets’ and ‘Recording Sheets’ and information about the three habitats around which the activities are based, namely: woodland, grassland and ponds.
Growing Among Trees
Funded by Defra and Department of Education, this project focused on reaching children living in areas of deprivation, aiming to benefit their mental health and wellbeing as well as inspire increased engagement with learning, to boost attendance and to encourage pro-environmental behaviour.

As a result of the Growing Among Trees project, Green Trees also collaborated with Nature Nurture CIC to produce their ‘Wild Teaching Pack’.
The Wild Teaching Pack
This pack contains - twelve session plans all of which are linked to the three core subjects areas of the National Curriculum. The pack also contains lots of ‘Top Tips’ on outdoor learning
